Dear AETF Members,
First off all, I wish you all a Happy and Healthy 2020.
May this year bring new happiness, new goals, new achievements and a lot of new inspirations in your life.
I would like to start by looking back on 2019!
For the incredible commitment and input of his knowledge to lead the AETF the past years as President, I would like to thank Master Tadeusz Loboda. Under his leadership the AETF has grown in multiple continents and national organizations and Master Loboda is known as a real figurehead of the organisation.
Therefore, it will be a big challenge for his successor to achieve the same level of leadership. So thank you very much Master Loboda!
2019 was a very interesting year, with the election of the new ITF President, Board Members, several committees and the new goals being set.
To maintain a future proof organisation and stay recognised by the international sport organisations, the ITF needs to fulfill a lot of requirements.
One of these requirements are the new committees as mentioned below:
- Communications & Development Committee
- Children´s Development Committee
- Harmony Committee
- IT Committee
- Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee
- Coach’s committee
- Women’s Committee
- Inclusion Committee
Of course, all these changes will have positive impact for the AETF as a continental organisation. More activities will be developed and educated which benefits all of is members.
This will make it possible to carry out the legacy of General Choi Hong Hi to more people all over the world.
Also I would like to look ahead to the year 2020!
2020 will be another very busy year for AETF Members.
Several elections will be made such as the election of the Board of Directors and the new AETF President.
This year we will organize the European Championships, European Cup and of course the World Cup in Koper, Slovenia.
Koper will be the highlight of 2020 and a big opportunity for the AETF members to compete against worldwide ITF members, without having to travel far distances.
Koper, Slovenia is located in the centre of Europe and will be the “place to be” in October!
Once again, I wish you all a very happy and healthy 2020!
Master Coos van den Heuvel
AETF Acting president
