The Italian Taekwon-Do ITF Federation (FITAE-ITF) is looking forward to some great events in Italy, from 15 to 19 June 2022, in Lignano Sabbiadoro (UD). The beach location lies between Venice and Trieste, near the Austrian and Slovenian borders.
FITAE-ITF in cooperation with AETF and ASI, a national sports promotion organization, turned in its candidacy by scheduling the XI AETF OPEN EUROPEAN CUP in a versatile and multifunctional complex, the BELLA ITALIA VILLAGE, immersed in a pinewood, just a few meters from the private sandy beach, with full accommodation, recreational spaces, equipment for all types of sports, conference centre and Sports Hall to accommodate 2800 spectators.
Actually, three events in one go!
- The XI AETF OPEN EUROPEAN CUP, an event of great international relevance, not only for national team members but open to all blue belt athletes, aged 14 and over, belonging to all national and foreign clubs.
- The INTERNATIONAL TAEKWON-DO CHILDREN AND CADETS CUP, targeted to the youngest athletes belonging to all national and international clubs: all belts, Children (10-11 years) and Cadets (12-13 years) categories may participate in the competition.
- The INTERNATIONAL SUMMER CAMP, ages 6 years and older and white belt onwards practicing ITF Taekwon-Do, is a perfect chance to live at full Taekwon-Do your staying at the village. Training will take place in the afternoon only and will be conducted by European Taekwon-Do ITF experts and/or champions.

Considering that the invitation is extended to all nations, FITAE-ITF is confident to be able to welcome a large number of participants with warmth and professionalism and to be able to organize a true Taekwon-Do and fair play experience.
In addition, Lignano Sabbiadoro, located 100 km east of Venice and 100 km west of Trieste, with its beaches, theme parks, recreational and accommodation facilities, sports facilities, touristic opportunities in the surrounding area, shopping and after competition relax and nightlife, will be an excellent base for a pleasant holiday of sports, sun and sea, nature, history, art and culinary delights.
The town is easily accessible by car, bus and train and is an hour’s drive from the airports of Venice, Trieste and Treviso.
