The All Europe Taekwon-Do Federation would like to announce sadly that due to Covid-19 the 11th AETF Open European Cup and International Taekwon-Do Cup for Children and Cadets in Lignano, Sabbiadoro, Italy scheduled for 2021 was postponed to 15th - 19th June 2022.

This decision was taken by the AETF Board of Directors during the meeting held online with the use of Zoom platform on 22nd November 2020. The final conclusion to postpone the European Cup to the year 2022 was taken in reply to the motion of the Federazione Italiana Taekwon-Do (FITAE-ITF) submitted to the Board and after taking into consideration the situation as well as restrictions imposed by the governments in Europe and worldwide due to Covid-19 pandemic.

As a consequence, the AETF Board has authorized the Federazione Italiana Taekwon-Do (FITAE-ITF) to take all the necessary actions relating to the organization and promotion of the Open European Cup 2022.

We wish the Organizing Committee successful preparation and conducting of the Open European Cup in 2022, while expressing our hope that by this time the situation across Europe and worldwide caused by Covid-19 will come back to normal and the organization of this championships will be possible.
