Girls Who Kick - a programme designed to engage women in ITF TKD
  29th Nov 2019
“Girls Who Kick” was created by Carly Wilson (5th Degree) to help raise the profile of women in ITF Taekwon-Do. As a junior and senior national team member and international medallist, as well as the first female Technical Director on the ITF England Board, Carly's awareness of ITF Taekwon-Do is a special one, being one of the few women to have reached such a senior position before the age of 30. Carly saw the need to create “Girls Who Kick” to allow female practitioners across the country to meet each other, train with one another and share their experiences in order to realise their own goals as “Girls Who Kick”.
We had 62 participants at our last seminar, inspiring women and girls to pursue their Taekwon-Do goals by using a network of regional female ambassadors who share their ITF Taekwon-Do knowledge and experience. More seminars are being arranged for next year as we set out on our objective to support women and girls in ITF Taekwon-Do.
