On May 14-15, 2022, the IV City Taekwon-Do Championship for Sofia Cup was held at Lyulin Sports Center in Sofia organized by Sports Association od MoI, Central Police Taekwon-Do Club, Bulgarian Association of Taekwon-Do and foundation “Sofia - European Capital of Sports”.

The participants aged 6 to 17 years competed in the individual disciplines of Pattern, Sparring, Special Techniques and Power Test. The total number of competitors was 281 from 17 gyms from the cities of Sofia, Vratsa, Pernik, Elin Pelin, Stara Zagora and Burgas. Part of the opening ceremony was an attractive demonstration of the students in 97 SU "Bratya Miladinovi" with head coach Sabumnim Nikola Iliev, who was also the organizer of the event.

This was the last preparatory element for competitors before participating in the XI AETF Open European Cup and Open Kids Quadratlon Cup Sofia, which will be held on June 6-10, 2022 in Sofia and all of them are looking forward to this significant AETF event for this year.

Final standing:

CPTC 97 SU - 1462 points;

CPTC NSU "Sofia" - 1229 points;

TC "Levski" 61 primary school - 653 points.
