Quadrathlon Cup Sofia 2019 Report

On 30 November - 1 December 2019 in “Arena Armeec” small sports hall, Sofia, Bulgaria was held Quadrathlon Cup „Sofia 2019“organized by Bulgarian Association of Taekwon-Do and Central Police Taekwon-Do Club together with the Sports Association of Ministry of Interior of Bulgaria. In the competition participated 503 athletes aged 6 years and above representing 29 clubs from Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Slovenia and Slovakia. The participants competed in the individual disciplines of Sparring, Pattern, Special Techniques, Power Test and Team Sparring.

The Chief Umpire of the Tournament Vencislav Ignatov managed 8 rings with 76 Umpires using BulScore wireless electronic system in all dojangs.

Winners Children and Cadets (6-13 years):

  1. CPTC “NSU Sofia” – 23 gold, 20 silver, 23 bronze;
  2. CPTC 97 School – 18 gold, 17 silver, 17 bronze;
  3. CPTC Stara Zagora - 11 gold, 9 silver, 9 bronze.

Winners Juniors (14-17 years):

  1. CPTC 97 School – 3 gold, 4 silver;
  2. Transilvania Taekwon-do ITF Schools - 3 gold, 3 silver, 2 bronze;
  3. TKD Club Ahac Šentjur Slovenia – 3 gold, 2 silver, 2 bronze.

Winners Seniors (+ 18 years):

  1. CPTC “Rakovski” – 4 gold, 3 silver;
  2. Liga de Est Vaslui – 4 gold, 2 silver, 1 bronze;
  3. Union of Taekwon-Do ITF Associations Moldova – 3 gold, 5 silver, 1 bronze.

Best Quadrathlonists of the Tournament:

  1. Male (6-7 years) – Vencislav Dimitrov – CPTC “Elin Pelin” – 20 points;
  2. Female (6-7 years) – Victoria Zhelyazkova – CPTC Stara Zagora – 20 points;

  4. Female (8-9 years) – Gabriela Petrova - CPTC 97 School - 30 points;
  5. Male (10-11 years) – Radostin Dimov – CPTC Stara Zagora – 38 points;
  6. Female (10-11 years) – Nikol Asenova - CPTC 97 School – 37 points;
  7. Cadet Male (12-13 years) – Emil Kostadinov – CPTC “NSU Sofia” – 38 points;
  8. Cadet Female (12-13 years) – Rafaella Aristotelous – Athlitikos Cyprus - 37 points;
  9. Junior Male – Mihail Velichkov - CPTC 97 School - 33 points;
  10. Junior Female – Postu Claudia-Teofana – Top Team Iasi Romania – 35 points;
  11. Senior Male – Ivan Apostolov – CPTC “Murchaevo” - 39 points;
  12. Senior Female – Mihai Adelina - Liga de Est Vaslui – 35 points;

Overall winners:

  1. CPTC „NSU Sofia“ – 1209 points;
  2. CPTC 97 School – 870 points;
  3. Union of Taekwon-Do ITF Associations Moldova – 510 points.
