In the second half of October calendar the competitions were held in Ukraine: Open Cup of Kiev and Open Cup of Dnipropetrovsk region called "Dnipro Open Cup".

About 700 participants from 11 clubs of the city Kiev and sportsman from Odessa, Vinnitsa, Kiev region, Chernigov and Cherkassy took part in the Kiev competitions.

The Dnipro Open Cup brought together about 200 participants from the city of Dnipro, Kharkov and Zaporozhye.

Competitions took place in individual competitions in four types of programs: sparring, pattern, power test, special technique.
