New EU Project for Taekwon-Do

Be Value Reload (BeValueR) project under Erasmus+ Sport program of EU for Collaborative partnership is inicitated by Central Police Taekwon-Do club (Bulgaria) as Coordinator and partners are Romanian Taekwon-Do ITF Federation (Romania), AC Aristotelis (Greece), Taekwon-Do Club Ahac (Slovenia), Gotse Delchev University (North Macedonia) and Private Professional Sports College (Bulgaria). 

BeValueR project has the main objective the proper development of the youths from Generation Z (12-17 years) in the surrounding electronic environment using Taekwon-Do as HEPA (Health Enhancing Physical Activity) policies of EU and enhancing the interactions between them and their parents and coaches.

This project is natural continuation of previously successfully accomplished project Taekwon-Do for the mind: Get a Black belt in Values (BeValue) which focused on creating healthy habits in children (7-11 years) including organizations from Bulgaria, Greece and Slovenia.

The starting date of the project was 1 January 2021 and part of the activities include transnational meetings. The first (Kick Off) meeting was held in June 2021 in Slovenia and the second transnational project meeting was held on 4 and 5 October 2021 in Sibiu, Romania. Special guest representing local Government of the event was Adrian Bibu - Governor of Sibiu Region.

This event gathered in one place 3 leaders of the Taekwon-Do communities in their countries: GM Panagiotis Galamas (Greece, member of AETF Revisory Commission), Cosmin Oprescu (Romania), Vencislav Ignatov (Bulgaria) and also 2 candidates for the position of AETF Board Members during the upcoming AETF congress in La Nucia, Spain: Master Alexandru Muresan (Romania) and Yavor Tasev (Bulgaria).

During the meeting was discussed the progress of the activities of project Be Value Reload with № 622351-EPP-1-2020-1-BG-SPO-SCP, and were defined upcoming scheduled tasks. The third transnational meeting is scheduled for February 2022 in the town of Shtip, North Macedonia.
