On May 7-9 in Odessa in the sports complex of the National University "Odessa Law Academy" under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine was held the All-Ukrainian Taekwon-Do Competition among youth, juniors and adults and the Taekwon-Do Championship of Ukraine among young children, children and young people. The competition, which took place at the highest level, gathered more than 600 participants from 15 regions of Ukraine.

Competitions took place in individual and team competitions in two types of programs: formal exercises and sparring. The opening ceremony was attended by the Rector of the National University "Odessa Law Academy" Sergei Kivalov, Head of the Department of Mass Sports of the Department of Physical Culture and Non-Olympic Sports of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Artem Orishevsky.

The competition was one of the stages of selection of members of the national team of Ukraine to participate in the European Championship among adults and juniors, which will be held in Spain. The next qualifying tournament is the Taekwon-Do Cup of Ukraine, which will take place in autumn 2021.
