Success of XII International Taekwon-Do Mazovia Masters Cup 2018 and V International Polish Advanced Seniors & Veterans Championships
623 competitors from 7 countries such as Belarus, Georgia, Latvia, Russia, Sweden, Ukraine and Poland took part in the XII International Taekwon-Do Mazovia Masters Cup 2018 and V International Polish Advanced Seniors & Veterans Championships for Kids, Cadets, Juniors, Seniors and Veterans which was held from 16th to 18th November 2018 in Ciechanów, Poland.
Great atmosphere, high sports level and efficient organization are the main reasons which encourage the best competitors not only from Poland but also from abroad to arrive to Ciechanow each year. This made MMC 2018 the most numerous of all previous editions.
XII International Taekwon-Do Mazovia Masters Cup was organised by Mr. Michał Korzybski – president and coach of the LKS Matsogi Ciechanów Club with help from Polish Taekwon-Do Association. Patronage over MMC 2018 was held by Mr. Krzysztof Kosiński – President of Ciechanów City.
All Gym was decorated in MMC banners. Also awarding ceremony area was equipped with new podium with nice background, next to which were arranged medals, cups and mascots prepared for winners.
During the opening ceremony Mr. Michal Korzybski introduced the authorities, sponsors, coaches and umpires. After presentation of all present teams Master Tadeusz Loboda – AETF president and PTA Vice-President welcome everyone and granted gratitude letters to officials. He also granted Master Certificates from International Taekwon-Do Federation to Master Adam Alenowicz, Master Zbigniew Bujak, Master Jerzy Jedut, Master Jacek Łuniewski, Master Wojciech Zdanuczyk, Master Zbigniew Semp. He also granted certificates of recognition from Polish Ministry of Sport to present coaches and European Championships medallists.
Competitors righted on 6 rings supported by SportData Event Technology system. During the competition they could participate in patterns and sparring divisions. This time also families and friends at homes could watch matches thanks to online streaming.
